Surfing the Slopes of Copper Mountain
Although this story is more than a few months overdue I found myself sitting at work becoming quite nostalgic of our little alternative Valentine's getaway to the quaint little village in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, otherwise known as Copper Mountain. So being that I couldn't stop day dreaming about our skiing trip although the weather is becoming warmer by the day, I just had to finally break down and write the story of our montain adventure for all to read. Enjoy!

Homecoming at Robert Morris University has remained an important event for many of us even after graduation. Many of the alumnists make the long haul back to watch the Colonials take the field, visit the Trivia Pub, and enjoy the company of friends and family. This year, our dear friend Joey D threw in a twist. He decided it was time for him to take the plunge into the great abyss of marriage.
Four score and seven.... ok so maybe not that long ago, but a semi-long time ago, nonetheless Sir Jobs-in-training and I decided to make a mini vacation out of our extended Labor Day weekend and agreed to pack up the Nerd Mobile and head East on over to the coined "couples vacation capital of the world" The Poconos.
Key Largo, Montego, Baby Where Should We Go
For those of you who read the fish story ever so appropriately titled after a play on words from the ever so popular cinematic wonder, Scarface, consider this the prologue as our next adventure takes us on a whirlwind ride to Pacino's neck of the woods (okay, not quite), sunny, southern, beautiful FLORIDA!
You would have thought that I had enough of the Middle East with already having visited Qatar twice over the last year. Nope, the first two trips weren't enough so I recently made my third venture across the Atlantic to the sands of Cairo, Egypt. Despite my playful reluctance to place my body in a plane and propel myself across the seas again, I was eager to visit a city that I had only seen through television and history books.
