Alright, so for those of thus that are Apple enthusiasts you might have been eagerly awaiting the MacWorld 2007 Expo. It's one of the many venues where Steve Jobs hosts a keynote and talks about new product annoucements and the future of Apple. In previous years, there was always something uncovered during the keynote that was innovative and often hit my wallet pretty hard, but this year, all I can say is whoa. I won't go into gory detail, you can get the play by play and some high level results at MacRumors.
iPhone –
First off, Apple's widely rumored iPhone was unveiled and wow, it's like nothing I've seen before. In true Apple style, it's got a unique and pleasing interface as well as all the bells and whistles you come to expect from them. Not only that, but it comes with support for 802.11b/g, Cingular's EDGE data network, and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. Yeah, that's definitely cool to me. You'll probably want to check out the iPhone website to get a closer glimpse at all its features.
Apple TV –
In its early form, this was previously unveiled as a 'work in progress'. Now it's officical and available through Apple's online store. Apple was kind enough to provide support for 1080i, 720p, 576p, and 480p as well as HDMI. Oh, and did I mention it's wireless? Yep, you can wirelessly pump your videos, photos, music, and other digital entertainment right from your laptop. A more detailed overview is provided on the Apple TV website.
